Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and celebrating it once just isn’t enough. That’s why I decided to throw a special Friendsgiving dinner for our (growing) Marysia Swim team and close friends around the neighborhood. The inspiration was derived from feather centerpieces on my Pinterest board and transformed into a feathery fête complete with real peacock feathers grounded in hand made concrete vases all by Carly Bennett . To maintain the centerpieces as the focal point, I opted for opaque white and french grey dinner wear and clear goblets from Casa De Perrin. Found Rentals always comes through and provided the rustic white tables with a variety of vintage chairs.
Local restaurant, Thyme Cafe, served up a traditional Thanksgiving meal including citrus rubbed turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy! Nathaniel mixed up a delicious red Sangria ahead of time so we were good to go when guests arrived. A little topper of Cointreau is the trick!
I loved kicking off this holiday in such an intimate setting. Can’t wait to do it again soon.
