On Thanksgiving Eve I traveled to Australia for my first visit down under. The trip was equally work/pleasure related but it all felt like a super fun vacation for my husband and I the whole time. We haven’t taken a trip without the kids since our Miami vacation.
Here are the most memorable places we visited and I highly recommend you check them out too when you visit Bondi Beach and Sydney Harbor.
WHERE TO STAY
Awesome spot for us with a big room and plenty of room to spread out…it was almost like a small apartment with a kitchen and washer/dryer area. The colorful modern design was much better in person and a perfect vibe of Bondi. Their staff was so nice and friendly and gave us great recommendations.
WHERE TO EAT
for yummy healthy breakfast
Not too far fro QT was the most beautiful restaurant in Boni. We went here for breakfast but they are open until 10pm. This her was the most delicious fruit bowl with coconut yogurt and tastiest of fruits I have ever had!
Right below QT for green juice and a snack like this chocolate covered pineapple popsicle!
for dinner/cocktails – beautiful space and delicious Negronis.
Overall my favorite restaurant visited and the most beautiful presentation. I also had the most delicious apparol spriter here, pictured below:)
WHERE TO SHOP
Cutest store designed all in pink after our own heart.
I love Lucy’s designs and her mix of brands in her store, PLAYA. You can find Marysia Swim here too! I was the first shopper at the newly open shop:) Here with Lucy having fun.
WHAT TO SEE
A place we have all seen on our Instagram feeds. I had to see this place for myself. Here is a beautiful view of the pool from the Icebergs Dining Room Restaurant.
Bondi to Bronte hike
The hike from Bondi to Bronte was the most picturesque hike I’ve ever done. You start at the icebergs and go along the rocky ocean side. The ocean breeze helping along the many stairs…it was a great workout! Nathaniel took a little rest in the hole of the wall. Would love to shoot here one day.
As a former ballerina, the Sydney Opera House was a must! We saw the beautiful Ophelia on our last evening and it was fantastic!
