I celebrated getting older in Tulum this winter and now I get it.. I understand the magic that exists there and I cannot wait to go back. My friends and I went for a long weekend and we had a blast. We stayed at Rosa del Viento which is a small 26 room hotel with beautiful Caribbean Sea views.
Some of our favorite meals and cocktails included Casa Banana. I highly recommend the Mayan- a tequila based drink. The desert there was amazing…I forget exactly what we had but all three deserts we ordered were BANANAS!
At Be Tulum – we had a late lunch/dance party and the grilled octopus and fresh sashimi was amazing. The tables were on the sand with a beautiful outdoor grill near by that smelled amazing. We had such a fun time..maybe too much:)
At Hartwood– grilled beets and fresh ceviche were so good. I had the best appetizer of the year..spinach with grilled pineapple and sea salt..TO DIE FOR!
Posada Margherita– fresh pasta in tomatoes were so simple and delicious! There is a cute boutique there we are selling my swimwear to soon:)
My dear friend and NYC food caterer, Woldy made us a beautiful beach side spread from the fresh ingredients Tulum has to offer. ps..his shorts are one and only big boy marysia swim:):)
We went to visit the Mayan Ruins and got a private tour which I highly recommend…it saved us a lot of time we can we got to jump the line.
Sunbathing here with my friends in my new Hibiscus print antibes bikini...the best suit for laying around and soaking up the rays.
Sunsets were magical and I’m coming down for more. The best word to describe the trip and Tulum was Magical! Thank you friends for making 35 so much fun for me!
