As part of our travel series, City Guides, we explore the different neighborhoods our stockists are in around the world. We asked Beth Buccini, owner of New York boutique, Kirna Zabete, to show us her favorite local spots in Soho. The luxury concept store just recently celebrated 18 years in business and is a must-see for any New York shopping trip.
What made you open Kirna Zabête and what makes the shop unique?
At the time I felt like shopping in New York City wasn’t good enough and I always wanted to create a destination that featured a highly-curated edit of the best designers of today and tomorrow.
What is your favorite Marysia style?
I love the Broadway triangle bikini with the signature scalloped edges!
What does a normal day in the city look like for you?
There is no normal day! I usually have back to back meetings—they can range from buying appointments to finance meetings to creative brainstorms with various teams at the office.
Best spot for a morning coffee?
Favorite restaurant for after work cocktails?
My go-to is the bar at Le Cou Cou.
